بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ١
By the fig and the olive 1
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ٢
And [by] Mount Sinai 2
وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ٣
And [by] this secure city [Makkah], 3
لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ٤
We have certainly created man in the best of stature; 4
ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ٥
Then We return him to the lowest of the low, 5
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ٦
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted. 6
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ٧
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? 7
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ٨
Is not Allah the most just of judges? 8
